Mahncke Park is an urban neighborhood and park located on the eastern fringe of Midtown San Antonio, Texas, USA. The park connects the San Antonio Botanical Gardens to Brackenridge Park. The surrounding neighborhood was built around Mahncke Park.
An early streetcar suburb, the Mahncke Park neighborhood developed adjacent to the Broadway streetcar line. Most homes were constructed from the 1920s-1950s.
Most of the homes in the neighborhood range in size from1,000 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft and were constructed during the 1920s through the 1950s. Pre-WWII housing architecture consists primarily of bungalows built in styles of Mission, Four Square, California and Cottage Tudor. Post-WWII housing architecture consists mainly of Ranch-style dwellings. The neighborhood today has an eclectic mix of residents from all backgrounds and persuasions.
Mahncke Park is serviced by the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD). Many school children in the neighborhood attend private and religious schools.
If you are looking to sell your home I recommend Cassidy Olivares.
She listed and sold my father’s home. We had 3 offers within 3 days!
She helped me every step of the way.
I recommended her to my son and his wife. She sold their home as well and found them the perfect home.

Jenny Heyman and CORIE Properties were excellent during and long after the purchase of our home. Jenny was understanding of our needs and patient in our pursuit. She helped us negotiate a fair price and provided her expertise and industry contacts. Long after the purchase of our new home, she remains in contact with us on a regular basis.
I also appreciated the year end tax prep documents that CORIE Properties sent over which included details on the closing costs and reminder about the homestead exemption.
I would highly recommend Jenny Heyman and CORIE Properties!
